Work in support of FRANS

Where Your Grandad LivedPainted in support of FRANS as part of their yearly For Art’s Sake auction in Sydney to support friends and families of people living with a disability. They will provide each artist with canvas on which you paint and return to them. All work is auctioned anonomously. Very worthwhile.

As for this painting titled “Where Your Grandad Lived” … it is based on an old photograph sent to my father (who migrated to Australia) by his brother in North Wales. The back of the photograph reads, “looking down the road towards Talwrn village – our cows are driven along this way daily. The village school is up on the hill on the right. Snowdon again dead ahead.”
